Software for GPS logging

GPS in English

I use the following software on iPAQ to take GPS log (NMEA 0183 format).

  • VisualGPSCe
    • It's free.
    • You can see GPS status graphically.
    • You can take log, though you have to input file name to write each time.
  • iGuidance(Ver. 2.1.2 North America)
    • It was bundled with my GPS receiver.
    • It's navigation software. Navigation is really useful while driving in the US, though I didn't expect navigation function when I purchased GPS.
    • You can keep GPS log, and default file name is given based on time and date.
    • Note that you have to keep map data size and map scale smaller as possible. Larger map data and larger scale map may cause Bluetooth drop when CPU usage becomes high (for example, recalculating a route).

If anyone know any other software for GPS logging than VisualGPSCe, please let me know.
